2010 was the final single vintage Classic Cuvee we ever produced before that cuvee became a Multi-Vintage wine incorporating a % of blended reserves wines, which we began cellaring from 2007 onwards.

Since this vintage is the last of its kind and we’ve carefully managed release in set tranches, based on time aged under cork post disgorgement, I would love to get your opinion on the wine after we taste together.
Interestingly for Nyetimber, and for our Classic Cuvee (which is almost always majority Chard) the blend is majority Pinot Noir (51%) and has seen 6 years on lees and 6 years under cork post disgorgement.

We always undergone secondary fermentation in Magnum bottles, for a finer, more integrated mousse and enhanced flavour development and integration. The lees effect is intensified in Magnums and with post disgorgement time this vintage is showcasing reductive, smoky character with rich layers of fruit and toasted flavours.
