Gant & Co is a new venture in Margaret River, but the man behind it—Matt Gant—is
anything but new to the world of wine. Matt was one of the founders of First Drop Wines
in the Barossa and has garnered a reputation over the years for adventurous, delicious
wines. Gant & Co carries on this trajectory albeit with different regional tools at its
disposal. The 2021 Sur Lie Sauvignon Blanc blend is one of the most attractive,
sophisticated and seamless efforts I have tasted from the region in years.
