Weingut Georg Müller Hattenheimer Hassel Riesling Auslese Goldkapsel 2015

The glass reveals an amazingly clear and strong lemon yellow with only very delicate hints of gold at the edge. The nose smells of a basket full of ripe apricots, lemon balm, dried mint, ripe red apple, some marzipan and hazelnut. However, the ripe red fruit is clearly in the foreground, which is refreshing and light despite the high residual sweetness. Towards the end flat peach, blossom honey, dried orange peel and marjoram are added. It is also quite similar on the palate, but apricot and blossom honey are clearly in the foreground. The acid creates an elegant freshness and leaves an elegant blend of sweetness and melt on the palate.
