Sergio Mottura Orvieto Tragugnano 2023

Orvietto is a wine growing region in the Umbria area of Italy, and Mottura are on the best winemakers in the region. This is a white only wine making region - and Mottura really show the beautiful flavours of the local terroir, with its volcanic soil and local grape varieties. The Tragugnano is from the oldest and best vineyards and is 50% Procanico and 50% Grechetto fermented in steel and aged on its lees. This is a richer style of white with nice texture and round, ripe apple flavours. A classic Italian food white!
