Selosse Initial NV
Guillaume Selosse is at the reigns of the Champagne house now, having taken over when his father Anselme retired last year. Anselme revolutionised the world of fine Champagne, and his son continues with his winemaking principles. In the vineyard, strict biodynamic principles are followed, while in the winery the approach is distinctly Burgundian. The wines are distinguished by the ripeness of the fruit, the use of oak throughout the process and the minimal dosage. The entire process is carried out with the utmost precision, and no expense is spared as every plot is vinified separately, the barrels come from Leflaive and the ageing is all done in house.Part of what makes Selosse so unique is the depth of reserve wines, used in the Champagne.
