Made from the grape Arcos, which is a grape particular to the Valencia region, where this red hails from. The vines were planted in 1970 and its only quite recently that the Arcos grapes are once again being appreciated for their unique flavour profile. This is the kind of wine that makes you feel like visiting the Mediterranean as the scent and flavour really takes you there: bright cherry flavours, sweet spice and a refreshing bitter orange finish. Pinot-esque.
