Lopez de Heredia Tondonia Rosado Gran Reserva 2012

This rosé is exceptional. It is the only Gran Reserva Rosado in Rioja. It's made from a blend of grenache, tempranillo, and viuru from the Gravonia, Tondonia, Bosconia and Cubillo vineyards. It is aged for 4 years in oak, before maturing in bottle in the cellars for release in its 10h year. That time has come. And what does it taste like - well it won't be for everybody - orange coloured - musky, spicy, floral, herbal. But we love it.
