Hawksdrift Pinot Noir 2017 The Hawksdrift Pinot Noir vineyard has been planted on a small band of heavy clay soil that runs through the property and can only be found in selectparts of the Lower Wairau sub-region. Once primary ferment is completed, the wine is pressed direct to the barrel and allowed to mature until the natural process of malo-lactic fermentation commences. Further ageing in barrel on heavy lees allows the wine to develop complexity and fully integrate the flavours. Ripe red cherry and raspberry aromas fill the glass whilst the palate shows complexity and concentrated red fruit flavous. Grape: Pinot Noir Region: Marlborough, New Zealand 750ml
