A rich, dry Riesling from the Pfalz region of Germany. Thomas Hanewald & Stephan Schwerdt, two cousins focus mainly on Riesling and Pinot Noir. The secret of their handcrafted wines is a unique lime-stone reef which dominates all the sites arround Leistadt. The grapes are picked by hand . A wild but temperature controlled fermentation is used, and long ferments and contact with the lees, give the Riesling a rich palate of stone fruit flavours and a refreshing lime tinged bakbone.
