Chateau Giraud is the only Premier Cru Classe that is situated in the commune of Sauternes itself apart from Chateau dYquem. It is undoubtedly one of the best producers of this famous sweet wine. Full bodied and intense with flavours of baked apples, apricots, vanilla, honey and spice. Lots of botrytis character on the finish. Grapes: 65% Semillon, 35% Sauvignon Blanc
