Boyer Martenot Meursault 1er Cru Perrieres 2015

Located south of the Meursault village. Our parcel of land is from the vineyard behind Domaine Boyer-Martenot and next door to Magny. Our old vines were planted by Vincent's great grandmother Lucie in 1924 and have rooted deep into the clay soil that once housed elm trees used for building and construction. The richness in the soil helps create a very balanced and fresh wine Delightfully fresh on the nose, baked peaches and a hint of spice and wood on the end. The palate is fresh, with citrus notes. Buttery like features, walnuts and cream. There is a lot going on but there is a harmonious balance. The finish is long.
