From Faugeres, Languedoc, Blend of Syrah and Mourvedre. Great nose of deep dark fruit, blackcurrant, black cherry, cassis, damson, clove, black pepper and leather. Really concentrated flavour with medium ripe tannins and a long finish. Juicy and approachable but with a serious backbone.
