From 2 rows of vines on the Polkadraai Hills outside of Stellenbosch, this is named the Breton for reasons that become obvious as soon as you try it- this is Cabernet Franc very much in the Loire style, although with a smattering of whole bunch, leading to black cherry, violets, fresh herbs and a touch of earth on the nose followed by a medium body with a lovely freshness and pleasantly grippy tannins. 750 ml
