Camporengo Le Fraghe Garganega 2019
Pale straw yellow colour. An appealing bouquet of tropical fruits, nectarine, acacia and mimosa flowers emerges on the nose. On the palate, over a background of rich peach and apple we find green almond, lemon curd, orchard blossom as well as green pepper and fleur de sel notes. Fresh, clean, elegant, medium-bodied, meant for immediate consumption. Pairs well with vegetarian risottos, chicken salads, as well as fresh and saltwater fish and shellfish.
The whole clusters are placed in the press, with no de-stalking, and the free-run must amounts to only 55%. After a fermentation at 17°C in stainless steel, the wine rests on the fine lees in 50hl steel tanks until the following spring, when it is bottled.
