Artuke Paso las Manas 2019

One of the jewels in the crown of this fantastic, forward thinking winery in Rioja Alavesa. Artuke are making site specific wines in a region that generally obliterates these nuances through oak use and blending.

This is from a single chalk/limestone plot at 660 metres in the Sierra Cantabria. It is aged in one 600 litre oak cask and shows fantastic integration, roundness, purity of fruit and supple tannins. A rare and remarkable wine from one of Rioja's rising stars.
